-*- First Week of my Last Semester...

Wow.. Monday is free day, Tuesday holiday, Wednesday's only lecture cancelled, Thursday free day, Fri only day with lessons...

Ain't that an extremely shiok first week?

Just when I don't wanna miss so many lessons anymore (because it's my FINAL semester and I'm so gonna miss studying......), they had to make my first week so slack.. Grr.. At the same time, yay! Hehe..

Anyway, I just realised that I haven't officially announce the five modules that I'll taking for the very last semester in NUS in my life.. (Doubt I'll come back to study more.. Haiz.. Graduation sucks...)

Yupz.. So I should really talk about the five modules and the sucky bidding process...

NM3217 is my last NM module to fulfill all my requirements for graduation. Last week, after I've gotten a few of the modules that I wanted, I decided to add my last semester's modules to the list of modules that I have taken so far.. Yes, I do keep record of my list of modules taken for my personal reference.. And I also added last semester's modules for my two majors into my list of requirements. And then, to my disgust, I realised that my requirements ARE FULFILLED by the end of this sem!!! That's when it really hit me that I really am going to GRADUATE... Sucky feeling I'm telling you. I don't wanna go out to work. I wanna continue living in denial, in my little bubble of happiness. Haiz..

Oh I was supposed to talk about my NM module right.. Sorry, sidetracked for quite a bit.. Bleh.. Anyway, my final NM module to fulfill my Shared Major requirements.. It's sorta like a upper level of my NM module (NM2220 Introduction to Media Writing).. I'm assuming here la, because NM2220 is a prerequisite... Anyway, same lecturer (errrr not my favourite la...).. Same gang... But Jono and Darryl not taking the same tutorial as me liao... :S Hopefully Jojo is taking the same as me.. If not I'll have to try so hard to make friends again.. Haiz...

SSB2216 is this business SS module that I'm taking with Lay, Elvin, Nara and her big gang of friends. This module is quite special, while bidding for the Seminar timing, we have to bid for the group that we wanna be in, so I was told by Nara to choose SB37.. And so apparently, out of the 25 students in the SB27 Seminar class, about 10 are our own people.. Hehehe... Basically Nara's gang in Singapore and the gang of good friends she made when she was in UBC.. Lessons actually started on Saturday, but I was unable to go because of my German classes, so I still have no idea what is going on.. Bah.

GEK1005 seems like a promisingly good module.. Taking with Lay, Winnie and Nara.. But once again, I think no one taking tutorials with me.. But I don't even know if I will get the tutorials or not. Bah. Anyway, this module is a Sociology module. I know, I'm getting myself killed... But who knows? Maybe I rock in Sociology. Hehe.. Module is about "the social world that we all inhabit".. Hehe.. Anyway, it does sound like an interesting module to me.. Looking forward to first lecture on Fri... ;)

LAG1201 is a cheaterbug module.. But not very much so actually. Okay, thing is I do have some foundation in the German Language.. I take German at Goethe Institut, but my level ain't that high.. So as much as it may seem like I'm at an advantage, it is only a tiny teeny weeny advantage for like the first two weeks.. Mainly because the pace is so much faster in NUS.. Goethe would want students to take their time, so that they can take our money.. NUS is out to educate people, well, at least most of the time.. Anyway, I'm SUPER LOOKING FORWARD to this module.. *excitement*

Last and final module that I bidded for was JS2226... It was a very last minute decision to take a JS module.. Because we were unable to get the Biz module that we wanted (Consumer Behavior).. So on that day, which coincidentally is the day that Nara came back from Canada, Lay and I had to rush home after receiving Nara at the airport (Okay, that's another fun story that I should blog about... But I keep forgetting...) to bid... So instead of going to our individual homes, I decided to go to her place to bid for a same module so we can take together... We reached her place at 3pm sharp, right after close bidding starts.. After which, we decided to drop Consumer Behavior once and for all.. And we started looking for a suitable module that doesn't ruin our free days AND sounds interesting AND has low bidding points AND that we fulfil the prerequisite.... Sounds like a tough job huh? Well, IT IS!! Grrr... We had such a hard time! So after going through details of about a million modules, ranging from Arts to Biz to Engin to SoC to Sci to every other fac we can see, we finally found one that was one of our first few choices.. For some weird reasons, even though we had, prior to bidding, been interested in JS2226, it never did cross our minds on that day to look at the details of this module.. So finally after nearly TWO hours of deliberation and nearly missing the bidding ending time, we finally put our FINAL module down... JS2226...

So yeah, that was the long and arduous FINAL bidding period that I will go through ever again.. To say the truth, I'll miss the bitch of it.. I really will.. Haiz..

Anyway, more to come, my tutorial balloting.. Hahaha guess I won't have to miss it that much longer huh? Hehz.
