-*- Possible WoW Outing?
Haiz. So it took WoW (half of it) about an hour plus to come up with what we should do with the $200 that we got.. Well, $180, because we exceeded our budget of $300 expenditure.. (Hehe.. More that half of it belongs to ME! My $240+++!!!! Hehe... ) So it's like we spent soooo long trying to come up with a date when everyone's free to "camp and BBQ and KTV"... And it's not even EVERYONE! It's only Me, Roo, Sue, and Ting!!! Haiz even so, the first three weekends in Dec have been vetoed... Sooooo, that leaves us 30th Dec.. Which I think could be the tentative date for us to do all the things! IF everyone else CAN make it too... GRrrr... Hahahah I think we should just go out and chill at kopitiam with beer la.. Hor roo roo? Hee..Aaaaaaaanywaaaaaay... I spent the whole of today browsing through Victoria's Secret la! Bleh.. Because I may be able to get a secret someone to get some stuff I want for me! (Hehe.. A secret someone I WuRve! ;)) I shan't disclose yet, because I'm not sure if it's confirm yet... Have to discuss with Secret Someone first.. If got then I'll tell everyone, so I can officially thank S.S.!! Hehe.. Okay FINE I'm LAME! What can you do about it? Bah. Anyway, so I came up with a list of stuff I wanna buy and I actually prepared a DOCUMENT for the S.S!!! Hahaha erm S.S: Please MSN me ASAP? Before you go away for the weekend? Hehe.. I can't believe the CRAP I do during my exam period la! Grrr... Oh! And I tend to blog more during Exams too... If you haven't noticed.. Or if you're new to my blog.. Hahaha.. So my whole day just went by like that.. HAIZ! Paper in 10++ hours and I'm blogging.. Pretty dead huh? Hope that a miracle will happen tomorrow.. A simple paper would mean that everyone would be more or less the same.. So Hopefully the curve will be less curvey, and Hopefully I'll be in the upper part of the curve... Haiz.. HOPEFULLY... 1. I'm not a taitai, despite what everyone thinks! I clean dog shit (erm, only Gougou's... the REAL one.. not the one on my blog)!!! But I lurve the taitai-ness in me that surfaces SOMETIMES.....

2. I'm quite a perfectionist... Especially when it comes aesthetics stuff... One very good example is the WoW ads.. Seriously, I get very anal about just one tiny dot more than what I want, or one bit of difference in colours.... Oh another thing is my powerpoints.. MUST be nice and very pleasing.. As far as I can help it, that is.... Oh, and my blog posts... Hehe.. No mistakes allowed....

Anyway, those guys, some of them became my very goooood friends... Most of them la.. ;) So they actually helped me in ways they don't know... (And I bet they still don't know...;))

Whoohooo!! Guess what! Okie fine, those on my MSN would know by now... (Duh right, since I put it so blatantly on my personal msg... Hehehe..) But for the benefit of those not on my MSN list.... I JUST CAME HOME FROM DRIVING AN SLK FOR A DAY!!!!!!! WHooooohooooo!!! Super High and Ultra Shiok.. Nothing compares man! Okay fine, a lot of things compare.. But Damn this is shiok. The car is Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! And phhhh-ucking Sexy! Damn! WOOT~!Okay, ya, it isn't mine... It's my auntie's... And Ya, I was only driving it for a day. But damn, it was high enough! Not enough for my entire lifetime, hell no, but enough for me to blog about it.. Wahahah. Oh well... Seriously, the car is damn compact, hell it's a two-seater (you know, like a motorcycle? hehz. well better obviously...). The ass is small like shit.. And the front is long like hell. (Erm sorry for the word choices, I just came back from chasing a dog which ran out.. Extremely angry with the dog.. Bah. Okay, that's another story.. Stupid Gougou..) Aaaaaaaaaaaaanywaaaaaaaaaaay, the car IS phoooooooooooooooooooooooo... And the SPEED! Sheeesh! I mean I haven't driven a lot of sports cars (only two i think... this and her previous one..), and I am damn sure there are better ones out there, But sheeesh this is one helluva drive! One gentle step and ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~!! DAMN! And since it's so compact and so sleek, it can squeeze and cut lanes so smoooooothly... (the sleek part helps because people are looking and swoop! I cut! whahahaha)...
Okay lah, it's undeniably the sleeekiest car I've ever driven, and maybe the sleekiest I'll ever drive (unless I get another one Sleeeeeeekier... Which I just may.. Heheh...).. I haven't driven a lot of cars. But seriously this ride is waaaaaaay cool! Haiz.. My auntie is yucks (in the most endearing manner, mind you, I love this aunt. AND NO! Not because she has a cool ride..)! She is soooooo happening! Bleh.. Haha and she is so sweet and said that I wanna drive just tell her, she'll exchange with me.. Whahahah but who has the cheek to ask la! Bleh.. But it's good to have the option.. Hehe..
Erm can't remember what else I wanna say about the car la.. But it's ultra sleek.. Okay, secretly tell you all, I took pictures.. Okay I know, it's the most sua gu thing to do la.. But I figured, what the hell, it isn't everyday that I get to drive this baby.. So here goes!!!!

Look to the RIGHT! Yesh! I have a new tagboard! Due to many complaints from people who wish to tag and are unable to, because the previous Shoutbox requires some cookies thing to be enabled, I've decided to be nice and create a NEW TAG-GEE!!!After trying out like about 4 tagboard webbies, I've decided on this one, because it's not as advert-full as this other one I saw, it shows date, it has ultimate flexibility to the stuff that I can change to suit my bloooooogiee, and it sounds nice! Hahaha... So you all must appreciate my effort wor! Hehehe....
Erm people, try to fill it up a bit, because it now looks ultra empty.. And I feel unloved! Wahahahhahaha... But yeeeeeeah... Tag Me! ;)

-*- I mounted IT!!!
So after everything was over on Wednesday, each member could bring one poster home, and well, I chose the Leaning Tower of Pisa one! Hehe, so everyone mounted already, cept me.. Because I need to mount it using Interlocking Fasteners, can't use mounting strips because a bit of the adhesive will show, and my cupboard (I can only choose to mount there.) is brown, so the strips would be very obvious.But! I've decided that I should temporarily mount it somewhere... So here's where i mounted it...

Anyway, very sad, because I tore a bit of back of the poster!! *wails* Stupid me tried to shift the poster by taking it out by pulling, since I thought it's only 2 secs since I placed it. But IT TORE!!!!!!!!! GRRRRR... Luckily it's just a small tear at the back of the poster, so I'm not that upset, I think.. Heh.. But it's still very nice, right? ;)

-*- WoW-ed them quite a bit...
***Warning: Lengthy Post**
For those who don't know, while coming up with our IMC (integrated marketing campaign), my MKT group has changed our name from 3Mers to WoW, correlating to our IMC title.. It's actually Wonders of Command, but we related that to the Wonders of the World.. So we decided to call ourselves WoW! Hehe.. Well, we spent about 3-4 sessions to come up with the main idea behind our campiagn and then spent another few sessions to come up with the other marketing methods.. Well, the other parts were done by the rest of the group. My main contribution is the materializing of the advertisements from the ideas that they came up with.. I'm like the graphics girl in the group. Heh.. They actually call me the PHOTOSHOP MASTER.. Hahaha well, I'm very happy that i can contribute to the project in such an honourable way.. Heh, many thanks to everyone, because I was so discouraged during some periods, when I couldn't find anything to fit into our ads, and they were there.. WOW: I LURVE ALL OF YOU!!! EACH AND EVERYONE!!!! MUACKS!
So anyway, the project ended officially on Wednesday, 16th November 2005 at 7 pm (almost sharp).. Presentation had been at 12nn, so here's a detailed description of what we did for the 2 days before it was time...
T minus 50hours (12nn, Monday):
At 10am Monday morning, met up with Lay to send the all done up posters (that we spent the entire two weeks or so on) to print in A2 size. Went around Bras Brasah to check out the prices for the cheapest and fastest printing.. After almost an hour, decided on one very chic looking shop.. Placed all 7 files with them, told them the quantity and sizes we want (one A2 sized poster for EACH picture, and 3 A3 sized each..) and paid my deposit ($100! $105 upon collection) and went off to pick Winnie up. Off to AMK, to buy food for the rest and have lunch at Carolyn's.... And a whole afternoon of fruitless work (for me) started... They worked so hard I was so guilty that I was just stoning away, because I couldn't come up with anything. Haiz. Each of us did our own stuff, Wei Ling ppt slides, Carol and Lay the plan, Winnie and Su Juan (and me, supposedly) Photoshop.. After hours of coming up with nothing, something came to me, and I did the preparation work, so I will be able to continue when I get home after family dinner. Left Carol's at 7....
T minus 36 hours (12mn, Monday):
Reached home from family dinner to find out that everyone is hard at work at Carol's and no one was going home that night, cept Tng, because she had to.. Started on my Amazon Tree (we were supposed to try to show where we wanna put the advertisements, and the Amazon Tree was supposed to be placed in Dhoby Ghaut, so we must Photoshop the Tree, and photoshop it into a picture, showing the place we will place it) It took me at least 2 whole hours, and I couldn't come up with anything.. Then a picture came into my head and lucky for me, I managed to materialise it! Thank goodness.. At about 3 plus? My tree was complete! All I had to do was to add the signs and place it into the picture of the Dhoby Ghaut NEL Station!
The tree was done from scratch, and the picture had this huge carnation before the tree was placed.
That was done by about 430am, when everyone is still working extremely hard. Winnie Sujuan and Ting Photoshop and Lay and Carol the script for presentation. Me? Once again, I was stuck in the MRT pict.. We're supposed to put in the ads into the train, together with some household stuff to show that Command Adhesive can be placed anywhere. But I just couldn't do it. Finally, at 530am, I decided to send the pict to Winnie to do a bit of stuff for me.. Despite having his own stuff to do, Winnie helped me.. Then i dozed off.. Grrr...
T minus 27hours (9am, Tuesday):
Woken up by Winnie. Had to finish doing up my MRT picture... Finally got it done at 11am... Sent to Carol, who was gonna send everything to the same shop Lay and I went to print..
the floor was done by our amazing mr contractor Winnie Ang...
By this time, Everyone has finished their jobs cept me.. Bleah.. But well, I managed to send it to Carol at 11am.. Poor Carol.
T minus 20hours (4pm, Tuesday):
Went Bras Brasah AGAIN, to collect the A2 and A3 posters... And all those that Carol had left with the shop.... Rushed to school after that..... To meet Uncle Lee, erm, our lecturer (although halfway, we realised that Uncle Lee didn't wanna see us, haha, because we didn't have any problems for our survey part of the project that was completed about a month or so ago.. Shessh that seemed so long ago now...) Then we went to the room in which the presentations will be held, to have dry runs. That's when we realised that the stupid printing shop didn't print one of the ads! 7 ads and they printed only 6!!!! So I had to drive all the way from NUS back to the Bras Brasah Complex to collect!!!
T minus 16hours (8pm, Tuesday):
Got all the prints, together with one new set with our group name. Driving back to NUS with everyone's dinner... After eating, everyone got back to work.. I tried extremely hard to remember all my slides and stuff....
T minus 13hours (11pm, Tueday):
Finally, we had a complete dry run, although everyone was packing up the room when I was doing my part. But all was settled...
T minus 12hours (12mn, Tuesday):
Decided to go to Lay's place to add some spice into my script together.. Spent 3 hours there....
T minus 8hours (4am, Wednesday):
Finally settled down, started on typing out my script... Took two hours... Slept at 6am....
T minus 4hours (8am, The Day):
Woke up and rushed to sch, was late, but it's okay, because we don't have to sit in for other groups.
T minus 90minutes (10.30am, The Day):
Finally gotten EVERYTHING printed, we had to print the slides for the judges.. Headed to biz... Tried to keep a clear head while panicking for the presentation.. Wei Ling seemed so well prepared, whereas I was there trying to remember what I wanna say for each slide.. Visualising all the slides and everything...
T minus 30minutes (11.30, The Day):
Ready and all preped. I was prepared. Sitting in the room, waiting for IT to start. This is IT. "Are you nervous?" Lay asked. Me? I was more excited than nervous. Wanna show everyone our group's baby! I was honoured to be presenting! Can't wait!
And suddenly, this is it. We're the last group and we've started. Wei Ling, standing there in amazingly straight posture, introducing us, the members. Going on going on.. She was pretty good. Zai... And "next, I'll pass on to Jiazi to elaborate on the execution of our marketing campaign".
THIS IS IT!!! I went up, I froze up. Really freezed.. Never once had I kena stage fright. But what a lousy time for the first time! My most amazing project and I just stood there, stage fright. It had to go on. I had to present it all. I can't disappoint the group that has so much faith in me! So I started and evrything seems to slow down from there.. I was too nervous. Bleh..
Lucky for me (or unlucky?), it lasted for a while more, and I was back.. As all of them said, Jiazi was back.. Erm, not the best, but I guess I was a little more relaxed... Seriously, all thanks to this guy that lightened me up.. Made a funny comment, which totally made me feel like Jiazi again.. Haiz.. But I wasn't well prepared enough, so ya... So soon, the clock displayed 0 minutes left. Uncle Lee didn't stop me yet. Kept looking at me, hahah.. And I kept looking at him (winked at him once or twice), pleading him to try not to stop me, that I'm finishing. And then, that was ALL! I was done! Not the best, but we were done!
Judges comment.. I couldn't concentrate very well... Guess I was a little too disappointed in myself.. I don't get stage fright one! Why!!! Bleh. But it's all donE! We've finished! ALL the hardwork paid off!! The eventual product is definitely worth everything! We're very proud of ourselves. Extremely happy. We didn't have to win to know that we were good. My part of presentation wasn't great. But our concepts and everything were good.
T plus 2hours (1.30pm, The Day):
Everyone has had a great lunch, Decent Buffet Lunch!
Photo time!! We were all so proud of ourselves! So happy that it's all over!!
After many many pictures, I went ahead to drive deardear from school to NUS.. Heee. He waited with me for the prize presentation to come. It was set at 5pm, but there were delays...
T plus 6hours (6pm, The Day):
Prize Presentation.... Speeches, Wrap-ups, And all kinds of encouraging words by the judges....
Uncle Lee to announce... First consolation prize, wasn't us... Second consolation prize.. Wasn't us.. THIRD and FINAL consolation prize, WASN'T US!!!! YEah! We're AT LEAST THIRD... And 2nd Runner-up..... GROUP 6!!! That was us!! Not the best or 2nd, but well, THIRD is good.. We weren't disappointed... We got our well-deserved recognition.. We did.. We weren't half bad.. We did good..
After all the winners were anounced, we went around talking and taking pictures..

Guess what? Uncle Lee said that our ideas were unanimously (amongst all judges) agreed as the most creative! Get that! MOST CREATIVE!!! It's really a lot of Carolyn, but it was everyone's effort!!! Our group had been very cohesive and everything was done perfect! And we were the Most Creative! If only there was an award for it. But it's okay, I'm sure we all know we are good.. Heh.. And we did get third! And we each have a polarising light! Ain't that great? Wei Ling must have been the most excited.. Heh.. And seriously, we DID GOOD..
What a great day! This project had been very hectic, with many ups and downs, and times when everyone was totally shagged and totally discouraged. But we all survived it! We ROCK! WoW rocks! Seriously, WE ROCK! Hehz....

3M project is officially over.. It had just ended and although no one said anything, but I hope everyone will miss the times we spent together, slogging, eating, slacking, thinking, crapping, dozing off, and laughing so hard... -*- Guilty of charge.
Damn! I didn't get any studying done AGAIN! Why? Cos I was busy the whole night checking out c h r o m a s i a... It's a photoblog. With extremely moving pictures. Seriously, those pictures are impressive. I have no idea about this guy's background or anything. But he sure is a fantastic photographer. Visit the site whenever you're free. I assure you, you'll be stuck too.Yupz, I spent the whole evening browsing through what must have been like 250 pictures? (I had four windows opened, and all I need to do is click the different windows for the different pictures to load.) Goodness, and I was so absorbed! I hadn't realised how late it was till, well, it was too late. Bah. BUT! But I did get some stuff done. Managed to materialize an ad (hmmm, I'm beginning to sound like Uncle Lee..) for the MKT proj.. At least tomorrow I will have something to show.. Hehe.. At least lah.. But I still didn't get my studying done. Damn. Shucks man. Haiz.
The manner I'm procrastinating, I'm gonna be deader than dead for this semester. As if my term-time performance ain't bad enough. Bah. Okay, I will try to get things done on Friday. Friday is frei-day. I'm frei on Friday.. Hehe.. Trying very hard to put my German lessons into good use.. (Frei=Free.. duh right...)
But I'm happy I managed to do something about the ad.. I was actually having a headache about how to materialise the very impressive idea by KaLouLing.. Man, seriously, I was totally floored by the very clever idea.. *bows to KaLouLing* Luckily I can sort of have some idea as to what to do. But, I'm not sure if the effect is as good as the idea.. So hopefully tomorrow the group will approve of the picture that I tried to put together.. :)
I'm still happy that I put in the effort to put KaLuoLing's idea into a possible visualization.. :) I shall sleep on it and look at it in the morning again, to make sure it's not too shabby to be shown.. Hehe..

-*- Whatever happened to my study days???
Well, as the terrifying 24th Nov looms closer, I'm beginning to feel the pressure.. Yupz, that's the date of my first paper.. *panic* Remembering exactly that Monday of the 4th week, when I went to the Co-op to buy myself three notebooks, telling my Laylay that it's still not too late to start (which it wasn't..). It's been 9 weeks. Two months... And I'm still in the relax-and-take-it-easy mood. No, it shall stop... It MUST stop!!So last weekend, I told myself, okay, this is the last enjoy weekend. From Monday onwards, I shall start studying hard. So Friday was Mahjong Night, Saturday Date Night and Sunday 3Mers Day (oh 3Mers is the group name of my Promotional Marketing module project group. Sorta started by me, the name.)
Monday was full day in school with THREE research participation, one tutorial, one meeting with the MKT lecturer and one lecture. That ended at 6pm, when dog-playing night started. Yupz, my family has a dog now. Well, at least for this week. Labrador/Golden Retriever (I have absolutely no idea.) The dog is endearing. 8 months old. Extremely playful. A little trained, but not enough. Ran out in the middle of the night.. Bummer. But we got it back alright. Oh, did I say? I played Mahjong on Monday as well. And there goes my Monday of "study hard"...
Tuesday public holiday. Ain't that always the greatest? Best time to study right? Well, 3Mers Day again. But at least that was productive. I love this project! We have to come up with a marketing plan to promote 3M Hooks with Command Adhesive. Rocks, doesn't it? And and and!! And there's a Cash Prize at the end of it! If 3M decides that our group has the best proposal, or 2nd or 3rd (out of 6 groups). Exciting right? Anyway, so Tuesday was Productive 3Mers Day... Dinner with Vincent after. Then Mahjong again.... There goes my "Study Hard" Tuesday...
Bah.
So last night, I told myself. Okay, well at least I don't have anything planned on Wednesday, I shall study then! Woke up a little before twelve, woken up by Erjie, who had accidentally let the dog run out of the house.. Had to go after the dog. Apparently the dog listens to me more. Haiz oh well, so I was awake. Went online to do Forum assignment.. Hahaha that means to contribute to the forum in order to get marks for my module.. EL module.. Bleah. So I was getting started on my "studying hard".. So excited... Little did I know as I went down for my lunch at about 2, a whole day of errands awaits me... Mum says BBQ tomorrow, Ah Girl has to go pay for the rental of the pit. Dajie says dog needs to be washed, Ah Girl has to buy shampoo and wash the dog. Oh well, since I was going to Bayshore to pay the pit money, might as well run my own errands right? Did some banking, bought some Zi-grooming stuff and dog-grooming stuff... Reached home about 5.30.. Bathed the dog, apply medication for it, and fed it. Then groomed myself.. Hahah shower, that is.. And now.. It's 8pm.. Haiz.. I shall study till late tonight. Hope nothing stops me...
Tomorrow is another long day. It's 3Mers Day again.. Let's hope it's Productive 3Mers Day... ;p
